The Hyundai Intrado crossover debuts next week at the Geneva motor show, but the company revealed some pictures and information about the car on Monday. The Intrado is the first concept produced under the direction of Peter Schreyer, who became Hyundai president and chief design officer last January. Hyundai says the Intrado demonstrates the company's belief that advanced vehicle technologies and intelligent design can combine to engage with drivers and passengers.

The new Hummer H3T will boast a five foot long flatbed rear. Shown at the recent Chicago Auto Show, this revised version is heavily based on the existing H3 and will be sold in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Unmistakably Hummer, the flagship H3T Alpha is powered by the same GM-sourced 300bhp 5.3-litre V8 that has proved so popular, albeit with an aluminium block to improve weight distribution.
Volkswagen has taken a can-opener to the Beetle, just as the nights draw in and the weather turns even less summery. Still, the new 2012 VW Beetle Cabriolet is said to be improved over the old version, with a retro look that VW claims is the most akin to the 1940s original yet.
